Depend GelLack's 'Nail Love' Nail Art Workshop : Depend Cosmetic by MediaCorp MeClub

Hello My Lovely Friends! Last month, my fellow blogger, Ivy from The Swanple invited me to attend the Depend GelLack's 'Nail Love' Nail Art Workshop : Depend Cosmetic by MediaCorp MeClub.

The workshop consisted of a brief introduction and step-by-step hands-on session. In this 2 hours hands-on workshop, we learned how to perform basic manicure/pedicure and create our own simple nail art design. In all seriousness, we had a great time playing with the Depend GelLack products and extremely happy with the results.

Okay darlings, I'll stop rambling on now and let's jump right in! Woohoo!!

AT THE WORKSHOP

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly lady who invited us to sit and help ourselves to cupcakes. Those yummylicious cupcakes were from Twelve cupcakes. I gobbled up the Chocolate chocolate cupcake in a flash hee..hee. So right after the refreshment, participants were asked to move to another area of the room set out for the session with rows of tables adorned with Depend GelLack products. Once everyone had settled down, the nail art session began and time for some action.

Depend Nail & Cuticle Cleanser

Step 1
  • Remove any old nail polish or excess oils thoroughly.
  • Trim nails to desired length.
  • Use emery board to file and shape the edges of nails.
  • Apply Depend Nail & Cuticle Cleanser to each nail and gently massage into cuticles.
  • Gently push back the cuticles with orange stick. (Please do not clip off your cuticles. It's because cuticles help to protect your nails.)
  • Wipe away any excess cuticles with cotton pad.

Step 2

  • Apply a thin layer of Depend GelLack Base to 4 nails (except thumb nails) on one hand.
  • Bake for 30 seconds under LED Lamp.
  • Repeat the same steps on the other hand.
  • Apply a thin layer of Depend GelLack Base to both thumb nails.
  • Bake for 30 under the LED Lamp.

Step 3
  • Apply a thin layer of *Depend GelLack Color to 4 nails (except thumb nails) on one hand.
  • Bake for 30 seconds under LED Lamp.
  • Repeat the same steps on the other hand.
  • Apply a thin layer of *Depend GelLack Color to both thumb nails.
  • Bake for 30 under the LED Lamp.

Step 4
  • Apply a thin layer of Depend Gellack TOP to each nail.
  • Bake for 30 seconds under LED Lamp.

Step 5
  • Moisten a cotton pad with Depend GelLack Before / After Cleanser.
  • Rub it over the nails to bring out the gloss shine and remove the stickiness.

Final Step
  • Massage Depend Myrrh Oil onto each nail for a few minutes
  • After that, massage Depend Cuticle Cream onto cuticles for a few minutes

So here's the result of my flawless nails! Ooh La La............

How to turn Old Curtains into a Tablecloth

I was out shopping and sashayed down the tablecloth aisle. A tablecloth that quite similar to my mom's old curtains caught my eye, so did the price $200.  Nah, I'm not going to fork out that kind of money just to get one tablecloth.  So I've got an idea!  I went back home and turned my mom's old curtains into a tablecloth.  I love how it turned out, so I wanted to share it with you.
